ITT versterkt zijn positie in India

De Vice President van ITT Corporation, Brenda Reichelderfer, heeft aangekondigd dat ITT zijn aanwezigheid in India uitbreidt door zowel een fabriek als een ontwikkelings- afdeling te openen. “Wij hopen de verdeling van de markten van water en vervuild water en de behandeling ervan (in Zuid-Azië) te verbeteren met producten die hier zijn ontwikkeld en geproduceerd,” zei ze op de World Water Day in India. Naast het vervangen van de verouderde infrastructuur en het implanteren van nieuwe technologieën, moeten we zorgen voor meer scholing, onderzoek en planning door de overheid, waarvoor samenwerking noodzakelijk is.
Zij voegde er aan toe dat kleinschalige oplossingen, die onafhankelijk zijn van de infrastructuur, van groot belang zijn voor de drinkwatervoorziening en riolering.
