ITT Vogel Pumpen helpt de natuur een handje op de World Cup skipistes van Sölden in Oostenrijk. Sinds 1922 is dit skioord, gelegen rondom Tirol, al populair. Vogel heeft hier in 1996 de allereerste meertrapspomp geleverd. Deze pomp is ingezet voor “snowmaking” in dit skigebied.

Momenteel zijn de hellingen weer open voor het World Cup seizoen. Dit jaar worden er zeventien Vogel pompen ingezet, die zorgen voor een sneeuwgarantie op meer dan 100 km pisten. Hierdoor kan er van november tot mei op deze Alpen locatie geskied worden, net als op de twee gletsjer skigebieden van Rettenbach en Tiefenbach.
